Solheim Cup stories: Caroline Hedwall makes history in 2013

From developing a substantial landmark in the history of the tournament caroline Hedwall will make a Solheim Cup reunite for Team Europe six years on.
The 30-year-old was a part of the final Solheim Cup success of Europe in 2013, a record-breaking 18-10 victory in Colorado, where she created her very own landmark.
Hedwall became the first player on either team, in the biennial event’s history, to acquire five of her games, helping Europe to keep the trophy in style.
The Swede awakened in both periods of foursomes with compatriot Anna Nordqvist, beating Jessica Korda 2 and Morgan Pressel & 1 Saturday morning and watching Stacy Lewis and Lizette Salas 2 & 4 in the opening game of the week off.
The spouse of hedwall switched for the fourballs to Caroline Masson, where they won each of the fixtures 1 & 2 to assist Europe in taking a five-hole edge.
Better was to come from the Sunday singles, where Hedwall made a four-birdie in the last to maintain a 1up victory and also ensure the decoration would return to European land.
