Telescopic Crawler Cranes

Telescopic crawler cranes combine many of the benefits of all-terrain cranes and crawler cranes. The excellent manoeuvrability of the crawler travel gear enables them to be used on any terrain. The crawler travel gear means that unlike all-terrain cranes, no outriggers are required. With the fully telescopic boom being adopted from all-terrain cranes, this enables a wide range of radii to be achieved quickly and easily compared to conventional ‘lattice’ crawler cranes. The crane itself can be moved on its crawler travel gear with the load on the hook and/or the telescopic boom can be extended and retracted with a load on the hook. These technical features mean that telescopic crawler cranes are enormously flexible in action.
